What it is
Founder’s Legacy distils twenty-five years of coaching founders, leaders and leadership teams into fifty short, practical lessons. Each one combines stories from behind closed doors, lessons from experience, relevant research, and questions to work through, designed to be read ten minutes at a time, then returned to as your challenges change.
It’s in three parts. What it takes to lead: your strengths, your purpose, your energy, your resilience: who you are and how you want to be as a leader. The job of a leader: purpose, strategy, organisation, culture and talent, and where your business sits on its journey. And the tactical challenges: decisions, honest conversations, hiring, motivation, trust: the daily work of leading.
I wrote it because coaching is often done neutrally, and that isn’t the kind of coach I am. Leaders are busy people under pressure. I didn’t gather all that experience to leave it locked away.
